Seven years in record label limbo
The L.A. Times is reporting that JoJo is finally free from her label, Blackground, after seven years in limbo. How a label managed to go seven years without capitalizing on the promising (and proven) success of a young JoJo is BEYOND me. With several lawsuits, JoJo and her lawyers tried everything from proving mismanagement with unreleased albums to failed attempts at utilizing the minor contract laws to void her ties with Blackground. With a contract being officially signed with Atlantic Records, her promising and magical career can finally blossom the way God intended it too.
The year of JoJo and Andre
You can read more about JoJo's inevitable return to glory somewhere else though. There is more at work here. As a fan of the classics, all two, I've not bothered (sad face) to keep up with the past seven years of JoJo's music "career". But I just discovered something amazing... JoJo wrote a song about ME. Guess who just found his song for 2014? THIS GUY. Lets ignore the fact that this is from March of 2013 and if you've already heard it just let me have my moment...
I'm JoJo's Andre
What do you think? Will JoJo be able to make a comeback after all these years? The industry has certainly changed a lot since Leave (Get Out) and Too Little Too Late. Sound off below.
